The problem with restoration projects is that once you get started you just can not stop. My Amphi was going in for new quarters. Lets just say scope creep has been considerable.
Amphi will now be undergoing a full bead blast and repaint. I do not like the current appliance white so that will become history. I have been seriously consideringswitching to red (Mercedes "Mars Red" to be specific). At the same time, I recall seeing some other nice Amphis in something close to the orginal white with red trim mouldings that I also like (some with red tops as well, some without). My idea for pearlescent white died after I found out how difficult it is to touch up or repair those 3 part pearlescent finishes.
Anyway, if anyone can send me some pics of the white Amphis with the red trim mouldingI would much appreciate it. If it is your car and you know the actual brand/color of the paintpleasedo share that infoas well. Hopefully, seeing those will help me make my final color selection. You can email me directly at amphicar770@yahoo.com
Thanks,
Mike I.
