We have been looking for tech articles and only find a few
splatterings here and there (thanks Dave). Is there a site or a good
tech type book that offers articles in some depth such as something
as
simple as point gap, plug gap, timing or even all around wrenching
chat. I can not speak for everyone; but I enjoy working on my cars
and do appreciate a good tech book. I'm sure there is a mass of info
out there that may assist others as well. It would be nice to have a
tech page on Amphicar.com where issues, ideas, problems solved and
maintenance data could be shared. Any views on this out there.

John

I hope your elbow surgery works out well, good luck.
Thanks for getting back to me on the tech stuff. For some reason when
I go to Amphicar.net, it hangs up on the main page...any clues.

I really like to read in depth tech articles on how and why things
work. Troubleshooting chapters are nice too, as they sometimes
contain help in directions that are otherwise missed.

I did read something a week or so ago that Dave the Wave inserted
about if you see grease below a wheel tunnel, what that means and what
to do. The legal size Amphicar book goes into just so much detail, if
you know what I mean. Articles I write are so complete, anyone off
the street could use them.

Mostly anything that will make working on the cars more of a joy than
an all out search.

Thanks again, I appreciate your input.

Good Swimming

Marty

Marty,

I have been (albeit slowly lately) working on just that sort of page!
I have some information listed
(http://www.amphicar.net/minnow/index1.htm) under "Technical Info."
If anyone would send me what they have or would like to see I will
gladly add it. I am going in for elbow surgery on the 15th, when I
get out I will have some tiome on my hands to work on it. It should
be interesting doing it all left handed!
