Anybody got good advice for member CANITFLOAT (John 'Jack' Howland) who put DIESEL FUEL in his Rialta Campers GAS engine? It seems that he just spent $5,500 (WOW!) installing a rebuilt cylinder head onto his Rialta engine. Then, moments after picking it up from the mechanic, drove it to the nearest filling station and filled it with DIESEL FUEL. He then as he drove it onto the freeway ramp, he noticed it was smoking badly, but instead of stopping, he floored it and continued onto the freeway until he heard a "noise", and it quit running! Long story short, he bent the #1 valve and now he wants to blame the guy he bought the Cylinder head from (and maybe even his poor mechanic too) and anyone else he can but HIMSELF for his massively stupid mistake! Why won't he accept any blame? Don't sell this guy anything Amphicar parts through PayPal or risk him trying screwing (pun intended) you over-GET CASH!! Lucky for me, PayPal looked at the evidence and ruled in my favor (see attached file). I mean-who does that!
