Convertible top color

I own a '67 Amphi that was Fjord green originally. I believe that when I bought
it (in un-restored condition) that it still had the original top which was
black. Looking at all the pictures that I can find, I do not see any green
Amphicars with black tops, only white. I need to replace the top and I would
like to maintain originality. Is black correct, or did someone replace it with
the wrong color years ago?

Gary:
I've seen green (and blue) cars with white and black tops. I think the
later US green and blue cars (67) and European cars received these black
tops. Maybe David Chapman can better inform us of these details.
