Hey Webmaster John,

In preparation for getting into some greasy rear axle maintenance on my Amphi I
thought it
best to make copies of pertinent pages from my valuable Maintenance and Parts
manuals.
You've made it so easy, however, to go to the Members Only section and simply
print those
pages.

Two fins up to you for all the valuable work you've done over the years for us
members.

Thank you,
Ken Chambers, CA

Speaking of greasy rear axle maintenance.....how do you know when your
rear wheel bearings need replaced? Do you just go by feel when you
jack up the car and spin the wheel, feeling if it feels "rough"? Do
they tend to make some noice when driving if they're going bad?
Mine were new late in '97 and Amphi has had moderate amount of use, and
only average care (greasing and such). How long should rear bearings
last?

thanks,
Marc Schlemmer.
