I've been through the archives on this and think thats the way I want
to go. I have a line on a small bearing 1300 and would probably do the
Weber conversion. What are you guys using for exhaust? Would there be
much point in trying to modify a spitfire header to fit? Seems like a
lot of work but would be a fun "Look what I built" project. Wonder if
it would really do much good seeing as how short the Amphi exhaust is.
Any input as to what engine modificationss help Amphi? Balancing and
aluminum pistons maybe. Needs to be able to rev on the hwy I suppose
but I wouldn't want to loose anything on the low end. I have the parts
for John's clutch and plan to do a - ground conversion while I'm at
it. My fuel gauge is already done and I'll be using the Lucas Spitfire
alternator.
Thanks for the help...
