I run my car with bias play tires at 14 psi. for the fronts. My car
with radials I run at about 20 psi on the fronts. Both cars have
about 30 psi on the rear tires. I find that if I inflate the front
radial tires to higher pressures the car tends to wander. With these
pressure settings, I run the cars at over 70 MPH and both of them
drive just fine. My Red car has a 1300 cc engine and I've run it at
82 MPH with room under the peddle. I suspect it would have a top
speed of about 88 MPH but given the configuration of the Amphicars,
I'd rather not run them that fast.
