Just got my statment from Verizon. I switched to Mexico coverage
before going on vacation for 3 weeks. I don't recall the price for
added coverage. It was $10 or $20 per month.
Anyway, cell coverage in Barra and Melaque was great until you got a
few miles from town. I got good signals in any town with a tower.
The good news was no roaming or minute charges.
Going back down in March. The switch is easy over the phone to
Verizon. Don't go to a Verizon store. They won't have a clue as to
what you're asking for.
