Has anyone used repair panels from J. C. Whitney? See web site
below. Some might be altered to fit, like for the battery box areas.

I bought a pair of lower quarters for a tbird from them once. Sent them
back. If I remember right, I could have rolled them up and shipped them
back in an aluminum foil box. They were thin!

I don't know about the J.C. Whitney's offerings, but Billy Syx of East Coast
Amphicar brought a couple of battery box panels that he'd made up to the
Celina Swap Meet. Once mounted I doubt one could tell them from the
originals. They even had the little ribs. I think he was asking about two
