Oil filter Adapter

Maybe someone has a quick answer for this. I was looking at the oil filter adapters in my two cars and noticed that the ports to and from the oil cooler are in different positions. One has 'em at 12 and 9 o'clock while the other has 'em at 4 and 7 o'clock. Meanwhile, both cars are running fine. Maybe there's a concensus on which is correct? I'm taking the lazy way to find out but it really is hot here today almost 90! - azpaul50

they can be set anywhere you are happy with as long as hoses are not rubbing Generator brackets etc,It does not affect the oil in or out .

remember to change hoses, do not run with 40 year old ones.
I do stock them.
