Subject: [amphicar-lovers] Mysterious Amphicar History
</font>
<tt>This talk about VIN numbers has brought to mind the fact that there are
various questions about the history of Amphicar production that seem to
never get definitive answers. There must still be people in Germany
that worked for Amphicar and I would think that these people could be
found and asked about some of these things. I know there are at least
one or two members of our group who are conversant with the German club
and wonder if the German club members have tracked such former
employees down. I've never heard of such an effort being made and
wonder if it wouldn't be possible to contact the German group to see if
they have made such contacts in the past.
