That's not true- at least not when only one of the
three veins breaks. I broke one last year while in the
water and I was able to exit the water as normal. In
fact I didn't even know it was broken until I was on
land. The only thing I had noticed was that it took a
longer distance to make a turn and I assumed I had
picked up a lot of seaweed but instead it was the
prop. It was fairly easy to steer.
