engines transmissions BW2

My luck or lack of it. I have found (the hard way) It is less expensive
to bore over and get new pistons. On Jims engine I will bet there was a
large amount of oil "jelly" in pan. The least he should do to his trans
is replace the water bearings and of course the seal. Once again I took
the "hard way" You inspect the intermediate gear, You spin it, it looks
and spins perfect. Then You take it apart and needles fall out. When
this bearing goes bad You can not hear it till it trashes gear. Then
because You think You can make it back to shore You cook the heck out of
trans. Because of accumulation of metal it takes out other bearing and
shaft drops and now what could have been a 100 dollar fix is 2000 + .

Have been getting BW2 ready in case of needing to sell. I love the way
Amphis look with wide white walls. Could it be thinking of selling just
gives Me an excuse to upgrade BW2?. " But Honey the car will sell soooo
much quicker with the new tires" Then I needed to rebush stub axles,
then what the heck new parking brake cables. Maybe new white side trim.
Maybe some new hub caps. Later Dave the Wave

Go for it Dave, I thought your car looked real good at
Celina without the new tires. I do agree the wide
white walls are neat.
