How to True up the clutch on original Amphicars. I forgot to do this and had to pull the motor back out to set it true. I usually use what we call the John Friese cluch kit witch does not need this step. and then when I put it in the 2ed time the front seal on trany popped out. Had to pull motor a 3ed time!

Over the years I also chased a clutch chatter problem pulling the engine several times with no luck.
Until I got the Friese clutch and installed it that is, now it works great!
