Noise from transmission or clutch

Help: On test drive after reassembly, car shifts well and is smooth, except when I press in clutch in 2nd, 3rd or 4 th gear and car is rolling, i hear clicking sound from gear box clutch area, goes away when in neutral. Does not do it in 1st or reverse. Noise is same with engine off. Replaced clutch and throw out bearing before reinstallation . Also had inspected the universal joints before reassembly . Have checked clutch adjustment about 3/4 inch play in pedal. thanks

You are not rolling in 1st?? If this is so tells me clicking is in drive line.. maybe a clamp on bellow s is hitting tunnel? I use plastic twist lines now,

Thanks Snowbird, have checked that, it is rolllling i. 1st and reverse. Also when in neutral and rolling, no noise

Purchase new from Gordon imports a few years ago while car was being restored.
