Guys, Need some help in deciding what colour to paint my second Amphicar
(which is being prepared at the moment).
I'm just not sure about the original Amphicar Blue, I think it sorta looks a
little too blue for the car. The colour that I think would suit Amphicar
better is Triumph Powder Blue which is a little lighter and was used on many
of the TR series cars in the late 50s and early 60s. I would also go for a
blue dash (although it's currently black) and white interior. I know the
white interior is a dirt magnet but I'd like to be able to swop it with the
interior of my red car at some time in the future and I think white is the
only colour that works in both cars.
Because I wasn't able to be at Celina this year (will be there next year -
360 days and counting) I have been looking through my photos as I'm sure
someone there in '01 had a car a few shades lighter than the original.
The car wasn't originally blue so keeping original colour isn't an issue,
just wondering if you guys - especially with blue cars think it would look
better a little lighter ??
There is a good picture of a Powder Blue Triumph here:

Grateful for all comments !
Thanks,

color)
