Amphicar By Interstate in Kansas?

[Daniel & Kathy Gibson]

Anyone familiar with this one? We we coming home from Wisconsin, and Kathy saw
what appeared to be an Amphicar sitting in a field near the town of Ottawa in
Kansas. I would love to have investigated, but it was not the right time (alas).
Anyone near enough to check it out?
