Dear Friends, Hello and happy holidays!Speaking of Celina, where is everyone
camping? I want to reserve now, I have a motor home with a trailer so it
would have to be a big space or a lot to park the trailers? We have a few
inches of snow and the amphi is in its storage bag for the winter. I envy
the folks down south that can still swim. If anyone knows the name and # of

Best wishes for the holidaze back at ya'. The now-historical '2003 Celina
Info and Pre-Registration' page is actually still lurking on the Club
website's server at
http://www.amphicar.com/Celina2003.html waiting to be
edited for 2004 and re-linked on the 'Events Calendar'. On it you'll find
everything from accomodations and camping options to airport info and local
links...everything you need to plan your pilgrimage in July. Obviously, you
DON'T want to use the Pre-Registration form found there...Unless, that is,
you've found some alien time machine in your bilge (Wasn't that an option
before '66, like the anchor and onboard bilge pump shower?).
But anyhow, apart from Kozy Kampground, contact info for which you'll find
in the camping options section of the aforementioned page, I should add that
some RV'ed Amphicar folks in the past have settled into the big parking lot
at the Eagles Lodge & Marina, which is pretty much ground zero for Amphicar
activities, both Club-sanctioned and those likely to require a good bail
bondsman, the whole weekend. Of course, you'll have no hookups, and you'd
want to clear it with the folks at the Eagles before hauling out the pink
flamingos, but it is an option that'll put you right in the nexus of
web-toed frolickery. And, as with the Kozy Kampground, contact info for the
Eagles is on the webpage.
