I'm not sure I really want to remove my windshield wiper motor, but.....

Do the ball & socket joints on the linkage come apart. or are you supposed to
unscrew the link from the ball socket assembly, just leaving the ball & socket
together?

And then, how do you get at the bolt heads behind that darn bracket? Is a small
socket better than trying an open-end or box wrench? I suffer from big fingers,
and this looks like a tough job. OTOH, the rubber mounting washers are likely as
bad as all the rest of my gaskets and seals. So.......

Thanks!

They just "POP" apart. They may be reluctant to seperate, so use a
large flat screwdriver to coax them apart. Remember how they go back
together!

This is where patience (or a child) come in handy! I morph
into "Super wrench" Two fingers grow 2" longer and add another
universal knuckle at the 1st joint. ;) Actually, I used a small gear
wrench to get at them. VERY frustrating getting them out, worse going
back in. ;)
