<font FACE="arial, helvetica"><font SIZE="2">He wants 28K. I had offered him $24K. His been bid as high as $24,100 on
Ebay. I just bought another car. So far my offer seemed the highest net one
he's recieved. Not a bad car, but was told by the shop in Newport where it is
at-same shop that rebuilds Huges transmissions, that it would take another
$5000 to make perfect. Still well under Hughs prices.

I wonder what they really want from very nice green Amphi that has
been on eBay 5 or 6 (?) times. Seems that he would be loosing some of
his profit margin by now. You get 1 free re-list, so he has paid
listing fees at least 3 times @ about $100+ a pop. just curious.

On another note, looks like somebody got a good deal on the blue one
in Canada (eh).

On another note, I am on my way to Sturgis tomorrow AM, WOO HOO!!
That will be a good thing.

I think the green one might be the same one I saw in
Long Beach, CA on 5/5 at the Unique Little Cars Show.

Through this list, I think I remember someone saying
that they wanted no less than $28,000 for it, but I
could be mixing up by limited knowledge of the Amphi
scene and thinking of another car.

There is now ANOTHER Amphi (Lagoon Blue) on ebay from
Utah. What do people know about this one?

Yes, the green one is the same 28K Newport one, but
what about this new blue one on ebay from Utah?

Any background?

Thanks for your replies.
