Aquada or Aquaduh ?

Okay, I admit it? I want an Aquada.
Can you imagine going 100 mph on
the road in an Amphicar? Or 30 mph
on the water in an Amphi? Where do
I sign up? Whooah! Hold the horses!
What's that you say?... it doesn't
have any doors? Nor does it have a
top? Hmmm, that doesn't sound like a
car to me. Sounds more like a boat
with wheels. But I'm cool with it
really since it seldom rains here in
San Diego. Wait? did you say it will
cost $225K? Hmmmm? well that's not
really a deal breaker, but it is a tad
bit on the pricey side. Oh, and by the
way? the Aquada doesn't have fins.
WHAT??? NO FINS?!!! NOW THAT IS
A BIG DEAL TO ME! YOU CAN JUST
FORGET THE WHOLE DAMN THING!
I GOTTA HAVE FINS AND THAT'S ALL
THERE IS TO IT! NO FINS ? NO DEAL!
AND THAT'S FINAL!

Not surprisingly, I once again concur with Amphipodae (dative case, 2nd
declension feminine?). For a quarter million semolians, one could probably
retrofit one's Amphicar with a friggin' turbine-powered ramjet thruster,
wings, an onboard frozen custard machine and state-of-the-art holographic
adult video avatars as passengers...and STILL have a roof over your head
(which rather matters occasionally over here in the mid-Atlantic states from
time to time, where we occasionally have a "climate" with something we call
"seasons" and stuff. And yes, still have proud fins that serve a fine and
noble purpose.
