Marine light

When we got our car the marine light on the trunk (front hood?) had been
liberated by someone. About 8 years ago we bought a plastic repro cover
from someone and it wasn't until today that I realized we don't have the
insides, i.e. the light socket assembly and whatever else is inside there.
Looking through Hugh's catalog he doesn't seem to list those parts
separately.

So what am I missing and would anyone have those parts available?!

Hugh Gordon(at Cellina today) has had thoseInternal parts made he had them at Cellia last year,
I have 1(not for sale) but they are easy to make out of old trailer lights and scraps as they are not seen.
I could snp a pick and post it here.
the plastic lights,Repros really distort over time and because of that I think Hugh has pulled them off the shelf. We were told to glue down a bolt in rear and after time the chrome let go in that area,. so if you have A A FAIR ORGINAL YOU ARE BEST TO KEEP IT!
I just pulled out a new one I bought from Hugh 5 years ago, its still in the box it came in,, the rear is all wiggly and discoloured,,, I wonder if he will take them back and exchange for his new one John says he had made this year?

Your info is out of date. The plastic front light that Hugh now sells is a totally new item, as of this spring. It is made by different people with a better plastic and it looks good so far. He also has a reproduction of the inside light socket.

Brad - Re the "Running Lights" ( Red and Green navigational lights ) - I
acquired my Amphicar 12 years ago and I had a different Running Light set
up that holds a pennant that I wished to put on the car, so I removed the
original light fixture which I have. It is complete - no dents or scratches
with the original Red and Green plastic lens and with the chromed screw on
the top, the black rubber seal on the bottom and the "guts" in perfectly
good condition which holds the bulb and has the wiring connection. The Rubber
seal that fits between the light unit and the hood fits and is usuable, but
should be replaced with a fresh seal. Otherwise, the whole unit is in good
to very good condition. It is almost certainly original from the factory as
it has Hella and the number 10/37 stamped right into the center edges of
the two lenses and across the middle bar between the lenses. Anyway, being
that it is 100% complete, I would only want to sell it as a complete unit,
though I don't know what it should be worth. For my information, where are
you located and what is your last name ? I could take a couple of pictures
of the unit and e-mail them to you if you wished.
