Hi all, Just got back from Wyoming, we were buying shed Elke antlers for an
upcoming project. We bought them from the Boy Scouts who are allowed to pick
them up in the National Elk Refuge. We got 45 sets weighing over 600 lbs. 80%
of the money goes to feed the Elk in the winter. We sometimes get to
Yellowstone twice a year, this time Lake Yellowstone was completely frozen
when we got there and in only four days it was completely free of ice. Has
anyone ever had there Amphicar in Lake Yellowstone? It looks like it would be
a blast. Over 200 feet deep and COLD. I think it would be so much fun to swim
up to Lake Hotel, park on the beach, have a Martini while listening to the
string quartet followed by one of their great dinners. Then swim off into the
sunset, I think it would make the Amphicar so happy. And us too. Tommy and
Lynne in Tampa

It's on the list as part of "Amphi's Big Adventure", Tommy, during the third
week of June. We're spending 5 nights in various campgrounds around
Yellowstone, 2 of which will be in Grant Village where we plan to launch & do
some swimming!
