Worlds Largest Amphicar Destination
Past six years I have tried to get to this show. While at Gords during Central Florida Swim In, I met Chris Granzow. He mentioned he lived in Lakeland and would like to help with getting an Amphicar event to happen during the MIDFLORIDA Auto Show & Lake Mirror Concours.
I had an opportunity to visit with Chris and visit his home on the lake. He has graciously invited Amphicar owners to have a place to meet and a place to park our cars safely.
The event coordinator Ginny Askew is super excited to have Amphicars back. They will have a tent and chairs set up. With special parking spots. Of course lake access. This is a small lake but will be surrounded with exotics and classics. This is a show off event.
YOU HAVE TO PRE-REGISTER. Its a little pricey. Life is short. If you don't like it...be quiet and don't bitch.
It would be great to see 5 or 6 Amphis....would give the wooden boat guys something to talk about.
