Email messages from new site

Mike,
Does this site allow posts to go to email like the last site? I stopped receiving posts to email a couple of weeks ago. In the past I would not login the site. I checked my preferences and it I do have it checked to receive all messages via email so not sure if I need to do something else.

At this time there is no ability to have all messages sent to users via email. In the old system this was a custom modification that the developer abandoned. It was also what prevented any upgrades and eventually caused the email storm of a few weeks ago.

While I hope to see enhanced email integration in the future, for the moment I have added a forum watch feature which will allow you to be notified whenever new postings are made. See photo for where to set this. You may set it for each forum area (i.e. General Discussion and Classifieds).

That's what I'm using and seems to work well enough. Would be nice if the notification contained a copy of the post or title though.

Correction: it does contain the title. Just not s copy of the post itself.
