Like the most of us, I enjoy the micro mini car market.
In the mail I received the advance registration form for The Micro/Mini Car World Meet 2010. August 21/22.
It will be located in Crystal Lake Illinois. I know there will be Amphicar owners there but I think many will be bringing their other unique vehicles. Later Dave the Pulsing with Amphicar excitement Wave.
Information on this meet will be in the next newsletter, which everyone should have shortly. One of the organizers Burt Richmond has been in contact with IAOC numerous times regarding this event. There will be more info in both the newsletter and on the club’s website in the future. From speaking with Burt it sounds like it will be a fun time with a lot of unusual oddball vehicles. They would like to have several Amphicar’s and have promised us our own area.
Dave, Just talked to John Capone about this microcar event and hope that Carol & I can attend this event with our 1957 BMW Isetta, customized of course. Attached are some photo's from a local benefit show for an 11 yr. old girl with cancer (she sure did laugh at us). For those that remember family matters TV show that is Steve & Myrtle Urkel in the photo's (well at least our best attempt at dressing up)

Thanks for the kind comments, I'm sure we were called more names than "Wonderful" (Is that car that small or am I just that big and dorky). This event was in Farm Country and we sure did get strange looks from some of the spectators. See you at the Raystown Swim-In

You say your not James Bond, What about that seat that you tried to get me to sit in the Isetta until I noticed hydraulic lines & pumps sticking out from under it. That roll back convertible roof is not just there for show...
