Wiper motor question

Now that my car is neg ground, what is the proper way to wire the
wiper motor? (It blows fuses right away) I noticed it has 2 grounds
(1 for motor and one for motor park brake). Do I just need to swap to
2 grounds for the 2 hots? Could it really be that easy?

I recently converted my 67 to negative ground and I didn't have to
change anything on the wiper motor connections. It just ran fine and
parked normally. DC motors that have electromagnets around the
outside(called stator windings), don't care which way the power comes
to them. They turn the same direction either way. None of the motors
in my Amphicar required any special attention to adjust to the
polarity change. Only the fuel gauge needed to be rewired internally.
I suspect your wiper motor already had problems.
