I am using Trico arms that were for the mid 50's GM cars. Mine are
from a 55 Pontiac though I believe they were used probably into the
early 60's. I put 12" Trico blades on, they too were from the same
year and match the wiper arm. This setup can be found and bought at
most old vehicle swap meets, from $40 to $80 depending on your
bartering skills.

To make these work on a Amphi you need to purchase the two right hand
arms (verify) as the mid 50's wipers start at the middle and go up
were as Amphi starts left and both go right, so you need the same
arms. There is an adaptor that fits over the Amphi pivot and is
secured by a set screw that allows the Trico arm to fit onto the
pivots. You can find these adaptors also at a swap meet from the same
people that sell the Trico arms and wipers.

I will shortly be working on the next and maybe better set up as I
may have found a wiper guy at the fall Hershey meet who has a bunch
of older wiper parts that are European.

That could be a very unsightly bulge!

I have observed that shortly after purchasing an Amphicar, the hip
pocket bulge gets considerably smaller. <g>
