Dave,

They make great bumpers on boat docks or you can fill them with concrete and make bases for mailboxes or signposts or just keep them in the garage like all the rest of us do!!!

How about depositing a difficult child in the middle of the pile of them.

Was the question my wife asked as we tried to find space in the garage for bikes, mowers etc, and it's a question thatI've found difficult to answer !

Tyres take a lot of space and I have 6 or so original Amphicar whitewalls. They have all been used but have plenty of tread and look reasonable butproblem is that there is some crazing on the sidewalls which means I can't use them in the UK - even if I wanted to. If I did a show car then I'd still want to drive it so no use keeping them for that. I don't think they have much value in UK or Europe and would likely be too expensive to ship to the US so think they will have to go for disposal although I suppose I shouldtry them on Ebay and I will keep the best one for reference.

Anyone think of any reason I can use to keep them ?

Dave - I keep my 2 sets of original tires in the shed out in my back
yard - that way she doesn't see them all the time! Out of sight-out of
mind! Gary.
