As rumor has it , Hanns used his wifes image from thier wedding day to
have special Mermaid boat bumpers made. Unfortunately the cost was much
too high for what was an already failing auto business. One set was made
and survived. Luckily due to its whimsical look another company was able
to reproduce this Mermaid bumper. Of course all yellow (and ONLY yellow)
Amphicars were to be fitted with these and some other upgrades. Later
