Back home after a great weekend of Amphicar mania. At least the rains held off
until Saturday evening. Many thanks to all those who helped organize the event.
It was a big undertaking and everything seemed to work out perfectly. It was
really fun to be there to live and breathe Amphicars. Great putting faces on
all
those names. Amphicar people are the best. All the Amphi folks were as
friendly
as could be and the townspeople of Celina couldn't have been more hospitable. I
hope that shot of Amphi endorphins lasts long enough for me to completely finish
my Amphicar project.
Boy, when it rains in Ohio, it rains everywhere. Slogged through a few hours of
rain and clouds but the flight home was fine. Picked up my wife and little boy
in Huntsville, AL then headed west to Santa Fe for the night and on to the blue
skies of California. Well, not a true blue this time of year with all the fires
out west. Sure was nice to see green grass back east too- something we only
enjoy part of the year.
Best regards to all,
