Visited Amphi in Brussels

I visited the Amphi on display at the Autoworld museum in Brussels, Belgium
today.
She sure seemed lonely with no other Amphi-buddies around!
Someone appears to have made off with her bow navigation light cover too.
She still wants me to say "hello" from her to all her brothers and sisters
Worldwide.

My firewall will not let me access the web from overseas, it seems- so I
have attached a pic of Amphi and I in the museum.
I'm sorry for the attachment (its only 47k) but it is the only thing this
connection will let me do.
I have other pics, but will wait til I can access the web before uploading
them there.

Yes, I have visited her twice. Unfortunately for me,
trips to BRU are now a part of "the old days".

You will also find that the display info lists her as
an early '60 model when she is probably a '67-'68.
Regardless, Autoworld is a GREAT car museum hosted in
a huge, old world European building more along the
lines of an art gallery. A "must visit".

Yes- It was a great museum for sure. Looks like the building once housed a
dirigible for at least one exhibition.

The sign on the amphi display showed her as a '62 model but I doubted that.
I hope the picture turned out OK. I have others, that I will post on the
file area as soon as I have a better connection.
