<font face="Arial" size="2">Sorry for any virus which may have been directed anywhere by me pc. I'm think it came to me via this list from Rowan's email attachment yesterday. I'm not sure why it was forwarded but Norton took car of it in short order.</font>

Yes, the list does do some screening but I do not know
how extensively. For example, the message which your
PC automatically forwarded yesterday was quarantined
so that only I received it.

At the same time, any intenet user would be wise to
have a copy of Norton Antivirus or McAfee and make
sure to refresh your virus defs regularly.

<font face="Arial" size="2">It seems Ireceived it un-knowingly & obviously the "Beast" e-mailed itself from myaddress book without me realizing.</font>
<font face="Arial" size="2">Problems were quickly sorted out at this end , once I was aware of it , and no longer exist.</font>
<font face="Arial" size="2">The W32/BadTrans@MM virus removal software is readily availablefrom the net& it's easily removed from your system , but if anyone wants it please let me know.</font>
<font face="Arial" size="2">Norton anti virus looks like a good investment , I'll get it tomorrow.</font>
