After searching the archives I find no information on tranny mount
modifications. Therefore, I will gladly accept your offer
on the mount modifications.

If frame is cracked someone used a solid setup at one time. A nice fit
and extra strong is a G.M. universal trans mount for turbo 350/400
transmissions. Problem is it translates trans noise to car. Nice thing
is one in everytown! Don't forget German Club has a nice set up on Clubs
Classified for sale. HEY Marty I have whatever you need to get your car
going, I can send out as loaner or just bring car here and you can use
what you need. Later Dave the Wave

Do you have a U-joint for our prop shaft there that you can send me
and for how much or do I need to call out to California?

[...snip!] Don't forget German Club has a nice set up [for tranny mount
modifications] on Clubs Classified for sale. [~ Dave Derer]

Sorry, but that ad was removed some weeks ago because the individual that
posted it along with several other items allowed their Club Membership to
lapse despite several reminders from the Club Prez to renew it, and the ad
has not been reinstated under non-member terms (i.e. Amphicar-related ads
are free for Club members, $10 for all others). Sorry, but them's the
rules...

However, I'm happy to say that a design sketch and a photo of the finished
items are still on the Club's web server at
http://www.amphicar.com/trannymount.jpg (sketch) and
http://www.amphicar.com/transmount.jpg (photo).

The beautiful sketch of the design appears to be the work of a Bernhard
Schatt in Germany, and it was perhaps he in Germany who was the actual
source of the finished assembies that were for sale on the Classifieds
through that former U.S. member of the International Amphicar Owners Club
who didn't renew for 2002. If any of the German readers of this list are
in contact with Bernhard Schatt or whomever the maker of this or any other
Amphicar parts may be, I would be happy to assist them as their "North
American Representative" in selling their Amphicar wares through the Club
website's Classifieds (und ich kann auch Deutsch sprechen. Email:
bilgemeister@amphicar.net).
