Transmission Levels

OK, so maybe I have not been paying close enough attention to the
discussions regarding the water and land transmissions fluid
movement. Tonight I checked my levels and the Water Trans reads HIGH
and the Land Trans reads LOW. Is this what everyone has been talking
about or is this the opposite of what everyone has been saying
relative to the high/low pressure side.

Dear Perplexed:

Some folks' gear oil seems to migrate towards land, others towards water.
Mine, for example, used to flow towards the water ranny, especially after
long land riding....like to Celina from Virginia and back. Under normal
"mixed" use though, I don't see much movement at all. Back in March I

It's the opposite of what most have been saying but is
the same as what happened to me. Maybe it's something
to do with the orientation of the seal that was
brought up before where ours is placed the opposite of
most others. I don't know if this will cause me a leak
down the road, but I just kept refilling the land
until is stopped losing oil. My water is quite a bit
overfull but I've done a lot of driving and swimming
already this spring, even a 75 mile road drive and the
land is holding it's own with water overfull but not
leaking anywhere and no adverse affects. I'm guessing,
with the water overfull, the pressure is keeping the
oil in the land. We'll see what happens. Nice to see
you found a car, Scott. Come out to the west side some
time and visit. We have a lot of lakes.
