My blue 68 is having a lot of major rust repair being completed and while in
the shop I thought of having an original trailer hitch welded on. Does anyone
with a trailer hitch on their Amphi have a digital picture with a close up that
they could email me off line? Thanks in advance Chuck in MI email address

I would need a picture in a few weeks if
Chuck Chuck did You look at panels at Cruiser Ducks place? For My reinforcement
on trailer hitch I tied lower and upper frames together inside of hull. I used
1/4 flat bar with nuts welded to it that corresponded to holes in hull I
drilled. After painting I used a urethane sealer/adhesive between bar and hull.
Then welded bar to frame. Holes in hull were a bit larger than bolt size. On out
side I used a rounded allen head type bolts when not using hitch. Then when
receiver is not bolted on it (car)looks original. With this design the hull is
not being used to pull only inside frame. Plus there is no large permanent thing
always dragging in back. Plus You can easily modify receiver to match project
being towed. Later Dave the Wave
