Subject: [amphicar-lovers] Top Repair
Richard,
I caused the same tear in my 1 year old top when I was distracted
by a crowd of onlookers asking me questions like: How fast does it go?
and How deep will it go? I called a boat dealer and they put me onto a
small local firm called "Dr. Vinyl." My repair is great. From five
feet away a person cannot find the tear. I'm pretty sure "Dr. Vinyl" is
a franchise firm. You may have one in your area. If not I suggest
calling a local boat dealer. These kinds of tears are common on boat tops.
Also, at Celina, I remember talking to Marc about a similar tear on
his car. Marc and Elizabeth made their own repair and it looked great.
Good Luck.

>My other question involves winter storage. I have a sealed car
