Well, three hours of work, and the engine and tranny were in! No damage to
the outside of the car, but I did bonk against the rear seat bulkhead a
couple of times. Hardest part was getting the axles back in. But, all is
well! The shifters shift, the wheels turn, and the oil drain plug lines up
perfectly with the bilge plug! And, the advice about lowering the car to
almost the ground was great!
Oh, and as an aside...the axles looked great. The boots are perfect, and
there was no signs of corrosion at all. Woohoo!!
