Texas swim-in

Anyone interest in a ride to the swim-in in Texas from Chicago land. If I
end up delivering a Not So Big trailer to Texas, I will schedule the trip
around that date, April 16-18. The only bad part is that we will be without
an Amphicar, unless someone wants to drive my SUV back, and I'll drive the
Amphi! What mileage does it get?

I have an NSB Amphicar trailer ready to deliver to Texas or along the way. I
would be driving there from Chicago. I'm looking for a customer that wants
one so that I have an excuse to go south and to visit Austin. Also, I am
looking for another Amphicar club member that wants to go along free so that
we can drive straight through to save us time and money (the savings of no
motel rooms goes to the trailer buyer).

I'm a bit further North than Warren and seems like I've had a later spring
than normal, but my wild flower field next to our house is just starting to
open the beautiful blanket of flowers. I'll bet the Hill country will be
extremely beautiful for the swim-in! Combining the Winery Trail with the
Wildflower Trail should be an experience to remember.
