Hi gang,
During tear down of my Amphicar, I removed what appeared to be some sort of high density foam that was applied to the joint where both rear quarters meet the battery deck and the deck on the exhaust side. My body man wants to know what that material is. I question whether or not it was factory installed. I suspect the previous owner was trying to keep water out. Without ever inspecting an other Amphicar, I need to ask you folks if your cars have this foam?

Thank You!
