If you want to, you can grab my quick and dirty Javascript slide show
code to get a quick display show such as at:

<http://www.amphicar.net/aboat2/GrapevineGetaway/index.html>

Not as "modern" as other albums available, but it is easy to customize
and keep the small code scripts (about 20k) in a common directory
pointing each folder of pictures to the common stuff. Basically, if
you are interested, download:

<http://www.amphicar.net/aboat2/slideshw/slideshw.zip>

and unzip it into a directory called "slideshw". Then each time you
have a new set of pictures, you copy the "index.htm" template file
from there into a new folder for those pictures and edit it for the
number of pictures. (there a 2nd redundant copy of index.htm called
index.htmx in the zip file just in case you mess up the template by
accident). Then when you access the edited "index.htm" file from your
picture folder it will access the common code and do all the rest. It
does depend on a consistent structure. Look at the bottom of that
index.htm sample file and you can see how to set it up. .... or ask
me if you get confused. You shouldn't have to change any of the other
files unless you are really ambitious, and if so, as it is all simple
Javascript it is easy to tweak. BTW, it works from a internet
server, or just as well from a local directory or CD. Someday I may
add captions, but haven't desired that yet.
