Well now for part two. Swim With Dave The Wave will be held in Sabula
Iowa. Across the river from Savanna Illinois. Back to the roots
approach. No schedule. No dinner reservations. Camping is excellent but
is first come first serve on island setting. There are two bed and
breakfasts on the island. There are 5-7 boat ramps. There is a lot of
awesome Mississippi back water areas. Plus the Mississippi itself. If
You like to fish this is also the place! A trip to Palisades State park
is planned. Plus in Savanna, I believe to be the largest Indian
Motorcycle collection inside an awesome antique bar setting. Date: I am
thinking second weekend after Mothers Day. But that can change.
Part three: Ride the Big Wave with Rog and Dave. This will be the "Big
Event". Lake of The Ozarks Missouri. This will have schedules but all
can be broken. Here is the plan. Thursday is arrival. Settle in. Friday
morning pack up Your Amphi. Leave by water. We will have stops planned
every hour or so. Probably will have pontoon boat set up with porta
potty too. We will be on water except for a lot of stops at bars,
restaurants and private places. Last stop will be at different motel.
Saturday return by water and land. If there was a place we liked best
then we will go back. The roads are exciting with twists and turns.
Plans include special map t shirt, poker run, swap partners, and maybe a
band for Saturday night.Dates to be announced. Sometime in September
