Inflexible personal obligations have prevented my attendance at Celina, but I expect this to be another terrific Amphicar gathering which has the support of the Port Clinton Chamber and other civic authorities. It would be great to see a large Amphicar turnout in this glorious location!
There are a few rooms still available but, they are going FAST.

The host hotel is Americas Best Value Inn. Discounts Available, contact Don Clemons. 866-734-2101.

Dates:August 7 – 10 Venue: Port Clinton (Ohio)

5/24 Update: Port Clinton Ohio is very excited about the potential of the Amphicars invading in August! I'vetalkedwiththeownerofthePortClintonAmerica'sBestValueInn(866-734-2101)andthey can offer a 15% discount on rooms for the Amphicar club. Currently they are at 50% capacity for that weekend so those interested in attending need to reserve rooms soon
The owner said he would be happy to reserve the curbside parking spaces for the Amphicars. Also, adjacent to the hotel is a city park where you notice the sidewalk is arranged as finger docks. This would be an ideal location for an Amphicar Show!
Port Clinton is renavating their 120 year old lighthouse. It will be loaded onto a barge, floated down the Portage River through the drawbridge and placed at its permanent location. How AWESOME would it be if when this happens, that there is an Amphicar escort for this event?
Hope to see you there
