As I mentioned last week I got stuck too. I posted a pic in the files
section (Stuck_Carter.jpg). We used the Park Rangers boat to pull us
into the water. They loved saying they had never seen a boat pull a
car into the water before!

It looks like you were in some deep mud. How did you get out?
How did your hand clutch idea work?

The Park Rangers used thier boat to pull us into the water.

So far I have been able to drive her for short distances. The
hydraulic clutch conversion is working nicely, but I need to do some
adjustments. It won't let go of the clutch completely so it slips
some at the moment. Once I get it dialed in it will be much better.
Then I can work on the forces needed. I can squeeze it with one hand,
but my big sister can't with both hands!

I managed to hide the master cylinder under the grey board below the
bilge blower and the slave is mounted to the trans directly aft of
the clutch arm. I will try to post some pics tomorrow of the system.
