Spot the problem.

I noted the red over spray all over the steering column under the dash.. See
this allot on many of the cars I restore.
Shoot.. its snowing like crazy and I am leaving for New Hampshire in a few
hours..

<font face="Arial" size="2">I rememberat a UK show a guy with a nicely restored early Mini Cooper and someone was ripping in to him because the Lucar (spade) connectors behind the dashboard going to the speedo illumination bulbs were silver colour instead of brass. </font>

<font face="Arial" size="2">I've found in the US people are much more polite and generally try to find the positive in someone elses car - which makes things a whole lot nicer although perhaps not as useful !</font>

I would think that if I was investing $60k and didn't know anything about an Amphi or a plane for that matter , I would certainly have an expert or some one I trust that knowswhat to look forlook it over to make sure that it is safe. If you were buying a 1970 Chevelle SS and the guy said it was a numbers match 454 LS6 , I would certainly run the numbers. You have to do the research because people are not perfect. It goes back to the used car dealer with a plaid jacket :) "Stitcher"
