Space should be about 8mm. 5 is OK, 1 or 2 is a bit tight so should be
"adjusted" up with a hammer, remove prop first. The gap often reduces when the
area around the radiator is repaired. Parts need to come from the US. There was
a supplier in Holland 10 years ago but nothing there anymore.

Subject: [amphicar-lovers] Space between prop and hull
Hello, this is my first post on this nice forum.
I bought a 1962 Amphi and it need some major restoration.
What should be the distance between the tip from the propellor and
the hull? At the left side its only 1-2 millimeter, at the right
side it is 5 millimeter.....
Is there somewhere in Europa a dealer for parts ?
Thanks, Willy from Belgium.
