Sometimes you have to bunt

I just could not justify the expense of a new chrome tip. But at a garage sale there was a bunt cake pan for 50 cents. It worked better than I thought. About a half hour and some basic metal skills. One possibly factory correct exhaust tip.

It was not that long ago that a lot of parts were not available and the cars had a lot less value. So it brought out the tinkerer or mad scientist out of the owner. That was a fun group. Independent and fun loving. Not so worried if the factory did it or not. All its value was in the splash. Later Dave the Wave

More satisfying and fun to custom make a part that open a package with a new remanufactured part, not to mention the $$$ savings
