Thanks!

There's a fair amount of rust damage that's not obvious in the pictures. The metal in the floor directly behind the doors (in the pocket the convertible top frame folds into) is totally rusted away, and someone slapped a layer of bondo on the rear quarters that is hiding a bit of the rust damage. There are also a multitude of dents and dings that need to be removed, but that is par for the course.

I am still waffling on ripping off the rear quarters and buying a new set from you, as I would really like to get in there, make sure it is all clean, and spray some zinc primer and a durable top coat to try and prevent this damage from reoccurring. I need to consult with the body guy to figure out the most economical route.

At least it's not a Prowler.

Peter,
Glad to see someone tried my door mounts for painting/blasting. You need to build a set for your hood and trunk lid.

I wish I had! Totally forgot about the hood and trunk lid when I was making up my materials list, and getting 2x4s into my daily driver is...unlikely. Next time I can borrow a friends truck it's on my to do list.

Those were a total live saver, by the way. Excellent idea.
