We have had problems getting the shifter into reverse for the past
few days. It will go in 1 out of 10 tries, sometimes.
Last night after a few swims and dinner out, we met a couple and
introduced them to the wonderful world we all enjoy. Were they ever
glad that their timing of coming out of the Anchor Inn was such that
we were just pulling in. Anyway, after we said our good buys to them
and told them what web sites to look in on, we drove down the highway
for a beverage before heading home. After we finished our beverage
and got into Amphi, started her up, she went right into reverse; but
now 1st was not there, it just made a passive grinding noise. I put
it in 2nd and off we started. 3rd was not there either, it also made
the passive grinding noise, so into 4th for the complete ride home.
We have not tried it this yet this morning; but wanted to ask if this
reminds anyone of any problems that they may have encountered B4 we
take a closer look?
