That makes five confirmed, so far. Still working on
the American Lake guys.

Bill, if you're up for it, plan on Marina Park in
Kirkland at 1:00pm or so on Sunday, 5/4. This years
"Splash 2003" poster that will be in all the Kirkland
downtown merchant windows features a picture of Rick
Seim's Amphicar in Marina Park with the caption "Hobie
Cat Regatta and Amphicar Swim-In May 3 & 4th".

Nancy & I plan to join Rick.

Larry (and others),
We had four Amphicars turn out for opening day. The Caprons, Cap'n
Jack, Roger St John and family and The two tone one from Lake
Stevens, the name of who's owner escapes me at this time. A great
time was had by all, Temperature in the upper 70's and a great crowd.
The warmer weather really brings out the pretty girls (WOW) As always
the Amphicars are a crowd pleaser and this year took first prize in
the "Spirit" class. I think my next big crowd event will be the
Seafair log boom with my buddies and a "Flash Friday" sign!
